This Exceptional, Rare, Highly Carved and Complicated, Circa 1880 High Victorian, 17 Grams ! 14K gold festoon or garland necklace is adorned with four hand-carved natural coral rosebuds. The necklace boasts three multi-tier pendants of gold circles with fluted centers and fine wire-work scroll borders. Each is hung with a polished terminal of gold in the shape of capped marquise. A rosebud in the center of each of these circles compliments the natural pinkish hue of the gold. . The pendant closes with a spring-ring clasp stamped 14K and the pendants themselves test positive as 14K gold in purity (Guaranteed). Weight is Approximately 17 Grams (More Than One Half of a Troy Oz) . The circa 1880 necklace is in wonderful condition with no damage and no repairs. I have not polished it. Truly, it is not often one comes upon a delightful feminine garland necklace like this and the rosebuds give it all the more charm. This is worthy of the label "heirloom."
