Antique Victorian silver finish cast iron toy kitchen cook stove marked "LEADER" on one end complete including the stove lid lift handle and having three cast iron pots as found with it in very good original old untouched condition, as found. Maine , 1880's. Guaranteed old and original; this is not a fake or reproduction. Actual weight 5 lbs. Fully set up 9 1/4" tall by 10" wide by 5" deep. This was in the upstairs girl's bedroom of the main house w we found the little cupboard we listed. No surprise to us that this was t too and... it was also in neglect. Legend accompanying these stoves states that stove companies made these miniatures as sales samples but our work experience in estates has always found them among the children's things. That no surprise either for any child, especially a doll conscious little girl, would spy, inspect and covet this stove once discovered at the local country store. Of course they were for sale and the stove salesman replaced it the next time through. They were perfect... by little girl standards... for her kitchen. , reviewing the cupboard & tea set listings and adding this stove, gee whiz, this girl was "set some go-ud". Shiny and complete, in fine working order except for some old bedroom estate soiling and stove top usage stains... this one is a sweetheart all the way even down to the lid lifter hanging at the left side. As for the three iron pots, they were t with it but we don't think they came with the stove. They've been with it a long time for they each have attractive base wear form sliding around in children's hands. Complete, lustrous and "cute as a button" even today's techno-impacted child will stop, look & ...play and... most grown adults will fuss with it too. Very good as found condition. Aside from the noted slight estate soiling and old usage stains and a little interior surface rust, the stove is in perfect condition with the iron pots included. Right out of an upstairs bedroom,, it has appropriate surface oxidation, wear and soiling for it's age and from it's old Maine estate residence. Please see photographs.
