1880s ALLERTON & Sons England RED Transferware PUNCH & JUDY Child's TEA SET 18Pc Weighs 4 1/4 lbs, double boxed 7 lbs From the Estate of a Child's Dinnerware collector. Wonderful Antique Staffordshire Children's China by Charles Allerton & Sons, in business in the mid to late 19th Century. The pattern Punch is decorated with pictures of Punch, Judy, Rag Doll Baby and the Pipe Smoking and Tea Drinking Frog. So nice to have a set with many pieces with service for four. You are getting: 1 -- Teapot with Lid ( 5 1/2" h) 1 -- Creamer Pitcher ( 3 1/2" h)1 -- Sugar Bowl with Lid (4 3/4" h)1 -- Waste Bowl (2 1/2" h x 4" diam)4 -- Cups (2" h x 2 1/2" diam)4 -- Saucer Bowls (4 1/2")4 -- Large Plates ( 5 3/8") CONDITION: Remarkable pristine, with small invisible restoration to a small flake chip on two cups. Tiny ding on teapot side rim. There are no hairlines. Brown firing line on bottom of one cup. Many pieces have faint fine glaze crazing without discoloration. The cups and most of the plates have no glaze crazing. Will double box for safe shipping. Insurance and Signature Required are included.
