this is a great map paper on canvas of boston mass ward 12 with a scale of 50 ft to an inch it measues 32 inches by 21 inches has union station on it and a bunch of streets essex st. summer st. atlantic ave, federal st, purchase st ect lots of house lots with owners name even wool warehouse jacob h hecht hecht bros and co . has 2 pieces of paper over original paper w things were added street map of south union station is over draks wharf new york and new england Railroad summer st section is over tilestone wharf which should help date it I don't normally deal with maps I'm guessing by the paper and canvas that it dates from around the 1880's but I'm not 100% sure. map is in decent shape has a 5 inche seam seperation at the bottom middle w it has been folded and a 2inch spot at the top middle. please ask any and all questions I have about 8 of these maps from boston that I will be listing in the next week or so along with more maps from a local estate. I plan on shipping this map rolled up in a tube if you would like it shipped flat between cardboard shipping will run a little higher due to the size of this map
