Looks just like a 1880s gun-rig! It was made within the past 6-8 years by Jim Laird. Jim died almost 2 years ago while riding his horse...just fell over dead from a heart attack, but stayed on his horse. A good way to go. Jim wrote the the book "THE CHEYENNE SADDLE" (the book is NOT included) . He was a leather worker and real expert on FA Meanea and other saddle makers in the Cheyenne, WY area in the 1800s. This is a copy of the carved holster on the cover of "PACKING IRON"( see page 120) The belt is nice and soft and comfortable, it is 3 1/4âe wide 45 caliber (40 loops) money/cartridge belt with a matching double loop holster with a toe plug for a Colt SAA with 4 3/4âe barrel. Can email pictures of the fit, itâe(tm)s perfect! In great condition. The large belt fits about a 38âe to 43âe waist, overall about 46âe. Would make a very good SASS rig! This is a $800 gun-rig! Both the holster and belt are marked J.R. LAIRD , SANTA FE . I sell all my listings WITHOUT a RESERVE Payment is due within 9 days or I may re-list the piece! Study the pictures before bidding, and ask questions if you are unclear about anything, be sure item is what you want before purchasing, because I DO NOT take returns. We described things as best we can but we are not experts in every field. You may know more about the item then we do. You are the judge as to quality and value. I try to list several new items every few days, so keep checking my listings that include many early Western and Mexican pieces
