Original Cabinet Card Photograph -- Shields Brothers -- TEXAS GIANTS
Offered is an original 1880s cabinet card photograph of the Shields Brothers, known as the Texas Giants. The four brothers were Shade (7' 8") , Guss (7' 10"), Frank (7' 11 3/4") and Jack (7' 11 3/4"). As seen in this photo, they often appeared in matching military uniforms. Photograph by Charles Eisenmann, noted photographer of circus and sideshow performers. Measures 4 1/4"x 6 1/2", guaranteed original. Old pencil signature on the reverse that may be by one of the Shields Brothers. See photos below for condition.
