Many years ago, on Christmas Eve, this Beautiful Book was given to my Great Aunt Mabel by her Beau...Louis. I had heard from my Mother how they were to be wed but Louis was taking care of his Mother so a wedding was not forthcoming.

As a matter of fact, my Great Aunt got tired of waiting and eventually married my Great Uncle Adamus. They lived a happy and long life though no children came of the marriage. She had a Doll's Trunk with all sorts of things inside, that was passed down to my Mother and then to me. The little trunk contained Love letters from Louis, Souvenir tickets from dances they had gone to and this little Tuck's Booklet. It was wrapped in tissue with a pink ribbon and quite honestly.......aside from a little TINY aging......t isn't a cut, tear, dog ear, loose page, chipped edge, on any page or Covers! All of the illustrations are as colorful as the day they were printed.

I guess being tucked away for 100 years did no harm......... I often wonder how many times she went to that little chest and wondered what might have been........

I know little about Tuck's other than they made super Post Cards and am not sure if this is called a book or a booklet. T are 12 pages of illustrations and Rhymes and is a Jewel!

The piece is bound together with a most unusual Tassle made of Silver Wire!!! I have never seen any booklet with this kind of cord. It just adds so much to the item.

The piece measures 6 by 4 1/4 Inches. I don't skimp on packaging, nor do I look at S & H as a way to get a little "something extra". My profit, which is often quite small after all the fees, comes from the sale price of the item. The rest is done as close to cost as possible. I'll gladly adjust shipping charges for multiple purchases.

This may sound corny, but I'm just a retired guy having some fun and ( hopefully ) making a little money. I've been in the antiques and collectibles trade for more than 40 years, and nothing is more important to me than my integrity as a seller and your satisfaction as a buyer. I'm sincerely grateful for each transaction and customer. T are âeoebigger boysâe on Ebay, but none more appreciative of your business ! Wishing you "An Ever Joyous Heart!" .......Dennis
