Very fine pair of antique hinges in the Aesthetic taste, circa 1880s, of patinated bronze or brass, the two plates of each hinge deeply molded with an elaborate sunflower and leaf motif with beaded border, the reverses decorated with a narrow band with a vine motif, the pins topped with a large circular flower-and-bead-molded finial, each hinge measuring approx. 5 in. wide (total width when open) by 5 in. tall (not including finial) by approx. .25 in. thick.
