This is an original photographic tissue* stereoview showing the entrance to the "Corps Legislatif" in Paris, France. A statue is seen in the foreground, and above the entrance gate a sign is readable: "Corps Legislatif" with a clock above it. A horse drawn wagon is seen at right. 3D is good - t is no tinting but windows light up when held to light. * Tissue stereoviews have several layers of tissue - the front one is a photographic print, another is tinted to match the image, and when they held towards strong light the make the image look coloured. Photographer: Not identified. Date: Not dated, likely from about the 1870's or 1880's. Mount measures about 7" x 3.45". The Scan has been enlarged to show detail. Flat mount - Dark Yellow embossed front and paler yellow back. Condition: A little rippling to the tissue, a little wear to the embossed edges of the mount, reasonable plus to good condition overall.
