The one photo features a hillside view of chopped down trees in front of the lake with Cabin and backside of Boathouse Barn shape. The other photo shows the Lake View with front of Boathouse. The back is written "Lake Placid, NY". The other photo is marked by the photographer with a stamp J.S.Van Buren. We have been selling from a Large Selection of Antique 1870's-1890's Photographs by J.S.Van Buren. This photographer was from Kinderhook, NY (same town as Martin Van Buren), the photographer mostly photographed New York State, mostly Adirondacks.
