You are bidding on an amazing leather-bound book. It is titled "Shakspere Tragedies" and includes two volumes. The first volume has 470 pages and includes; Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Cymbeline, Othello, Timon of Athens, and King Lear. This volume has over 130 illustrations many of which still have the tissue cover intact. These illustrations are gorgeous. I have included a few in the picture listing. The second volume has 516 pages and over 125 illustrations. It includes; Macbeth, Troilus and Cressida, Coriolanus, Julius Caesar, Antony and Cleopatra, and a section of poems and sonnets. The leather cover is intact and has some minimal wear. It has intricate carving on the front and back. The spline(binding) is attached and all pages appear to be included and are also attached. The pages show minimal yellowing and the edges are all gilded in gold. All in all this book is in very good condition considering it's age. I have tried to describe this book to the best of my ability and welcome any questions or requests for further info or pictures. However, it will be sold as is. You won't be dissapointed in this one !! Winning bid adds $8.00 for secure shipping with optional insurance. The inside tital page states....The Pictorial Edition of the Works of Shakspere, Edited by Charles Knight, New York: P.F. Collier, Publisher, 96 Liberty St,
