1882 Electricity in Surgery John Butler, MDBoericke & TafelThis 111 page book is in phenomenal condition......it has the name of an owner inscribed, but otherwise does not appear to have been handled much at all.....the binding is tight....the pages....it's overall in excellent condition.I was hoping to find instructions on building a frankenstein, but instead I was horrified to see the use of electricity to amputate a penis. From my perspective, it looks like Dr. Butler wanted to electrocute every possible anatomical affliction.....I don't know if he went on to receive a nobel award, but nonetheless he left his mark in medicine by writing this book that will be a prized addition to someone's collection.
