SUPPLEMENT OF NEW WORDSBIOGRAPHICAL DICTIONARY3000 ILLUSTRATIONS Published 1882 I purchased this dictionary about 10 years ago from an estate sale in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The gentlement who passed was an older fella and seemed to have an ambition for keeping his belongings over his many years of life.This dictionary is very well worn/used. The leather cover is torn and brittle and the edges are exposed. This is the basic, real, and invariable nature of such reference materials such as dictionaries. The essence of being used in a library, classroom or individual, children and adults in the late 1800's as we still do today. The pages all seem to be well keep and in order. Some pages are torn, and some corners missing. But all-in-all the internal pages are impressive.Please contact me should you have questions.
