This engraving was taken from a page of an old history book. The paper has aged well giving it just the subtle look you want on an antique print. If t is text on the page that I will leave for you to trim as needed for framing. If t is any uneven discoloration it will be visible on the scan below.It is exciting to look at engravings like this to see the changes that have happened in so many years. Engravings were common in books during the 19th century before photos became less expensive. The image was scratched into wood or metal and then used to make the print on the paper.
