GRADING: Our macro photo system allows you to determine the condition of an item before you bid on it. We use "better grade" and "high grade" as general descriptions. A "better grade" coin is a coin that we feel is in the upper %50 of the population that exists for that coin. A "high grade" is in the upper 20%. Many of our high grade coins will grade as mint state. We use the grade BU when we beieve a coin will grade MS60 or better. CLEANING: Most of the coins we offer are 50 to 200 years old and will probably have been cleaned in some fashion over their lifetime. Just circulation itself sometimes produces a cleaning effect.
