This map comes from " Colby's Atlas of the State of Maine... published by Colby & Stuart, Houlton, Maine... 5th edition 1884..."This map is an original and 122 year old, not a reproduction. This map is in good condition. This map is double sided and has a map on each side. This large double page map measures approximately 28" X 17" (70 cm X 43 cm) A true slice of American history from the days when sailing ships and horse drawn vehicles were the main mode of transportation. Many geographical items that are present now do not exist on these maps. Also, some towns that are on these maps are currently gone. A fine item for framing in your home or office. stwflbp
