Up for bid is an 1884 Morgan Silver Dollar, beautifully displayed in a collector's panel with two canceled stamps. This is part of the Postal Commemorative Society - U.S. Silver Dollar Collection series. Each panel features a signature historical event from the year the coin was issued. This coin features the date set further to the right than normal. Coin is in average condition for this collection. T he panel in the photos is the one you will receive. However, most of the coins that are sold are not directly from the U.S. Mint and most are decades or even hundreds of years old. It is sometimes impossible to know who has handled each coin or whether anyone has tried to clean or polish it at sometime in the past. There are many coins that have an appearance of being cleaned that actually have not. And conversely, there are plenty of coins that look completely natural that have been tampered with.
