You are bidding on an EARLY (BELIEVE 1887-1891 ERA PER DIRECTORY INFO) & EXTREMELY RARE, BRUNSWICK BALKE COLLENDER CO REVERSE BRASS METAL VARIETY old "good for" style trade token which says on one side " GOOD FOR 5c IN TRADE H.C. FITCH & SON (fitch and son ran the sullivan house) " and says on the reverse " THE BRUNSWICK BALKE COLLENDER COMPY. (pool table pictorial) CHECK ", which was located in old downtown of CLAREMONT, NEW HAMPSHIRE BEAUTIFUL OLD BRASS METAL VARIETY BRUNSWICK BALKE CHECK TOKEN. This merchant is listed as having run the "SULLIVAN HOUSE" (likely old saloon, or saloon hotel) in the town of Claremont NH from 1887 to 1891 The historic town of Claremont goes back to the 1860s, located in Sullivan County NH T his is a neat old token, and believe a tough to find merchant variety. Came out of a collection of BBC / Billiard maker reverse tokens, watch for future listings from all over the US. CANNOT IMAGINE FINDING A NICER ONE...A STRIKING SPECIMEN... OLD BBC REVERSE POOL TABLE PICTORIAL TOKENS ARE VERY COLLECTIBLE TODAY..beautiful token Trade token is brass metal, round, about 24mm in diameter ,and it displays very nicely.
