1887-O MORGAN DOUBLED ARROW SHAFT/FEATHER OVERLAP REED Up for bid is an 1887-O Morgan Dollar. I read them all on , nothing found with the markers on this piece. The bottom arrow shaft and arrow feather certainly looks doubled to me. I looked at this at every angle and feel it is doubled, You Decide, Not Listed on . Also, I found some over lapping reeding at 3 & 9 o'clock. The reeding is above ED in UNITED and the 5th & 6th right stars. See pic's and decide. I see it. The top of E P on obverse are either doubled or hit straight with a contact mark, not 100% which. Polishing lines in cotton bolls, leaves and hair, which also looks a bit over polished to me..The coin is a dullish silver and cruddy looking on the obverse, slightly brighter on the reverse. Not sure if it is crud under the base of 1 on date or not. This is certainly not listed on , did I find a new VAM? You Decide, You Grade, Keeper to add to your Morgan Dollar VAM collection.
