1887-O MORGAN HIT LIST 40 SUPER CD VAM-30A R-6 DBL EAR CLASHED O-L &R REVERSE TY Up for bid is an 1887-O Morgan Dollar. This is the HIT LIST 40 Super CD VAM-30A R-6 Doubled Ear, Near Date, Clashed Obverse O-L & R Reverse TY. This is also Cherrypicker FS-S1-1887o-030 Clashed Die Listing Only the Ridiculous Clashed Designs on the obverse & reverse without the Clashed Letter transfers . WOW! This coin has Ridiculous clashing. I cannot see the clashed O from DOLLAR above the middle of the cap below the 2nd U in PLURIBUS due to too many contact marks, scratches and wear. There is the faint clashed partial L serif incuse off the front of the cap fold from top right of 2nd L in DOLLAR. Use a High powered loop, tilt the coin, you will see a tick of the L clash. Clashed partial R from DOLLAR off the top rear of the cap below, just left of the 1st U in UNUM. Ridiculous clashed wreath at the rear of the cap from the bottom of the brim fold to the edge of the rear of the cap acros from the M in UNUM. Clash off jaw/neckline. The reverse has partial clashed TY from LIBERTY above the wreath bow top as raised vertical line and serif from upper left portion of Y at top of bow, plus raised tip from upper right serif of T next to bow top and vertical portion of Y and diagonal raised line with serif at top left of bow from T vertical shaft. Use your best loop, tilt the coin, you will see the clashed TY. Ridiculous clashed cotton stems run thru and below the arrow shafts, clashed cotton leaf off the right side of the left leg, clash off thebottom outer left wing feather, can't tell exactly where that clash is coming from. Ridiculous thick, high clashed vee from rear of cap across from top right star, follows the outer design of the cap past the ribbon, clash is seen much Lower than ususal inside the 3rd, 4th & 5th inner right wreath clusters. Clashed line above OLL. Horizontal clashed line with a vertical line down, looks like the top of the cap where it is closest to the cap fold. The curved clashed line from the R in DOLLAR to the outer leaf on the 3rd right cluster is partially visible. Clash on the inside 2nd right cluster. Clashed eagle's right wing towards field between In G. I've never seen such dramatic clashing on a coin in my years of looking at thousands of Morgan Dollars. The coin is worn scratched up, contact marks everywhere, retains a few EF details VF+ in my opinion, You Grade, Super coin to add to your Morgan VAM Dollar collection. Don't Forget, I ship For FREE!.
