1887 Victoria Sixpence, J.E.B. on truncation ex rare - reasonable grade*** (my ref. 36.16)

Spink 2011 catalogue ref. 3928: F £25; VF £65.

Davies 1150 1+A; ESC1752B - R3 = extremely rare.

This is the jubilee head, withdrawn "shield" type with the designer's initials "J.E.B." on the truncation (the bottom of the neck). The normal variety has the initials below the truncation, near to the rim.

***In a reasonable grade (slightly damaged and there are some obverse digs - please view images).
