DESCRIPTION Offered is a superb quality marble and bronze decorated clock with matching garnituresMade by Samuel Marti et Cie of Paris France, sold by the Goldsmiths Company of Regency Street in London, England. Properly marked so on the face and back. Also marked Medaille D'Ardent. Beautiful bronze work with guilloche machine work, cherub faces and towering finials. Beveled glass, clock has front and rear opening doors for access to mechanism. Comes with two keys.
MEASUREMENTS & WEIGHT Clock - is almost 18" tall x 8 1/2" wide x 6 1/2" deep. Each garniture is almost 12" tall x almost 5" wide x 4" deep.. CONDITION All 3 are in great cosmetic condition, althought t are few small imperfections. Bottom corner of the front door beveled glass has small chip. The right marble column has small but well repaired stress crack. A small crack on the back above the right back foot. Marble finial has stress cracks. One garnitures back corner has tiny chip. All are purely cosmetic and do not question the solidity or function of the pieces. Since this marble is veined, you cant even tell the imperfections at all. Clock runs fine without problems. Please keep in mind that this set is over 100 years old, so light use or age wear is always expected. Items are sold as described, and are described to the best ability.
