This is a great reproduction of an 1889 Campaign Hat. This is a Stratton hat that has been reshaped and designed to look like the famous campaign hats that were worn during the Indian Wars or going up San Juan Hill with Theodore Roosevelt and his Rough Riders. It is a nice quality felt hat that has been adorned with the appropriate ribbon hat band, an Officer's hat cord and a set of brass crossed sabers to represent the Cavalry. This would be a great hat for display or as a reenactment piece. You will enjoy it for many years..
