Offered in this auction is an 1889 Brochure and Timetable for the Missouri Pacific Railroad Co. It advertises special semi-monthly excursions to the City of Mexico via the Iron Mountain Route. The document is stamped on the back cover as follows: "Cleveland & Canton R. R. Co., Jan. 14, 1889, Kent". The folded time table measures approx. 3 1/2" x 6 1/8". When completely unfolded, the document measures 6 1/8" x 17 1/8". The document is comprised of five panels with printing on both sides.Contained on these panels are general information, choice of three routes, information for St. Louis to City of Mexico routes, testimonals of previous travellers and cost of the various trips. The document was printed by Woodward & Tiernan Printing Co. of St. Louis. T are no missing pages or writing in the brochure. The main defect that I observe is a 3/8" tear on the edge of the back cover. Overall, it is in very good condition for a paper item that is 119 years old. Please email me if you have any questions.
