Certified Authentic Ancient Greek Coin i7066) Greek Bronze 16mm Struck at the ancient Greek city of Maroneia 189-145 B.C. Obverse: Wreathed head of Dionysos Reverse: ΔIONYΣOY ΣΩTHPOΣ MAPΩNIΩN, nude Dionysos standing half-left, holding grapes narthex stalks & cloak; monogram to left & right. This coin's Numismatist Suggested Retail Price : $49.99. This will be reflected in the Certificate and makes a great gift! It was founded by Chios in the first half of the 7th century BC on the hill of Aghios Gheorgis. It is famed for its Dionysiac Sanctuary, of which the foundation of can still be seen today.
