Compiled with over 1,500 pages (746 pp. Vol. 1 & 820 pp. Vol. 2) featuring literature and illustrations of prominent people throughout the Upper Ohio Valley. Includes counties in West Virginia such as Ohio, Marshall, Brooke, Hancock as well as Belmont & Jefferson counties in Ohio. As stated on inside cover page, this Volume Set provides "Family History and Biographical Sketches, A Statement of Its Resources, Industrial Growth and Commercial Advantages" First few pages of each Volume also provides an Index of those mentioned in these Volumes. As shown in the photos the binding to these Books do have wear but the pages within the Book remain intact.
