You're bidding on a fabulous wall mount salt cellar from about the 1890s-1900. The word SALT is embossed on the front and is flanked by swastikas. Smaller swastika symbols form top and bottom borders all around the piece. An old Native American or Indian symbol, the swastika originally was a good luck symbol which had absolutely nothing to do with the German Nazi party or the Third Reich. So this item has NOTHING to do with that group or time period.

T is one small chip on the inside rim w the lid should sit and hide it--BUT T IS NO LID. Maybe you can find one on eBay. You may also be able to make a hinged, round wooden one.

Shipping weight, carefully double-boxed for a safe arrival, is 4 lbs. Although I donâe(tm)t require it, I do recommend that you purchase the USPS insurance for this fragile item, just in case. I accept PayPal, checks and money ordersâe"your choice, but I do hold your item for up to 10 business days while your personal check or money order clears.
