is a antique rosary from 1890 Canada, which a Priest owned, and I purchased this from a friend of the man who knew the priest relative. This is a very nice and excellent condition for a rosary that is of this age. The beads show a little wear, but that is to be expected. The skull is to remind us of our own mortality. No one is immortal except Our Lord and Savior. This is a precious and gracious piece of religious article that you will enjoy for the rest of your life, and you can pass it on to your relatives. The length is 16" the circumference is 20" and the drop is 5". The crucifix is enameled, and is 1 1/4" by 3/4". Beautiful with the raised Corpus on the front, and on the back is silver wash metal with the stamped Italy. The pater beads are brass balls and they are 4MM and the mater beads (wood) are 5MM oval. This is truly a master piece and should be treated with respect and due dilligence. A beautiful rosary meant for someone who will pray and persue the truths of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The only thing that matters in this world is how we plan to live out our after life. Will it be with God, or will it be with Satan? Only you know that answer, actually you and God knows that answer. I believe that I am to do exactly what I am doing now. I believe that God and the Virgin Mary want me to sell these rosaries. I guess you can say that I am passing the word of Our Lord and the Blessed Virgin to everyone who will listen. Sure, it would be so easy to just list the rosaries, and put a price on it and be done with it. But t is a larger picture that Jesus has for me to do. Right now, I know He wants me I wish I knew what else I can do but that is for me to find out. T are so many good people I have met on the internet through ebay. I don't go to chat rooms, so I just mean ebay. The lives that I have touched, and the hearts that are so happy to tell me their life stories. I cherish and pray every day that I have on this earth to keep this up for as long as I can. I do not have to know right now what is expected of me, all I know is that I am suppose to do this. It feels good to do little things for people whom I have never met, but talk to on the phone, or talk to them through ebay. Lives are a precious comodity, we should not waste it on the small stuff in life. God will see to it that we have what we need to survive. All He asks of us is to believe in Him, and to want to be with Him for all eternity. Is that too much to ask of us, when we think of Christ dying on the cross to save us? To me, t is nothing that God could ask of me that I would not want to do. I would give my life up for Him. I pray so much, every day, I say hundreds of prayers. I say them for the people who need favors, or who need strength, and those who think that they don't need anything. I say them because I love to pray, no matter what I am doing, I always am praying, sometimes just whispering it, and my husband goes by me and says: Are you praying? Yes, and I will keep praying, for our soldiers, for our children, our friends, and our relatives. Our Church, for the sick, the needy and the homeless. The crippled, the blind, the people who can not pray for themselves. It is not hard to do, I like to do it because it gives me something to do to keep my mind off of my problems with my aches and pains. They are nothing compared to what Our Lord has endured for all mankind. Keep Him in your thoughts, that is not too much to ask. God be with you all. :)
