For your bidding consideration is a great and large antique kerosene lamp or possibly heater fitted into its own iron base. It is in excellent original condition. The bowl measures 9" in diameter! and 12" tall to the top of the burner. Note that the unit can be removed from its iron base and has a base attached to the tank that allows it to stand when removed from the iron frame stand.I do not see any manufactures name just "Made in the United States of America" stamped on the wick adjustment knob. The wick knob is stuck but not broken. Freeing up the wick would easily correct that problem. T are a couple of short very fine hairline splits on the base attached to the tank and one on the casing of the level gauge. These are very hard to see and absolutely in no way interfer with the units look, operation or structural integrity. T are patent dates from 1888 up to 1894 stamped various places. A very unique feature is the patented oil level gage. It shows the words empty and full on a brass dial. I have attempted to describe and show this item to the best of my ability. Please ask any questions prior to bidding as this is a used item being sold in "as is" condition. Shipping and handling will be $16.00 within the continental U.S. and $18 to Puerto Rico , Alaska and Hawaii . Insurance is optional but recommended as I will not be held responsible for loss or damage once the item is shipped . The rest of the world, please inquire before bidding as shipping will be higher and in most cases insurance will be required . I accept PayPal , U.S. money orders and cashiers checks only.
