Late 1800s Trade CardSinger Sewing Machine "The First Lesson" You are purchasing a Victorian trade card depicting "The First Lesson on the Singer Sewing Machine". The card shows a woman teaching a young girl how to sew. T is no date on the back, advertising portion of the card however the top of the card states; "Founded 1850" and "Progressing 1892". T is a unique feature to the photograph: a skin rug with the head of what appears to be a female lion is beneath the girl, woman and the machine set up!
