You are bidding on a BEAUTIFUL CRISP EMBOSSED almost 7" tall Antique pharmacy / drug store bottle once used at A DRUG STORE, PHARMACY called " THE OWL DRUG CO. " believe in the 1880-1900 era, somewhere in the western United States. This is a variety of " THE OWL DRUG CO " bottles that I have never seen. It is tall and cylindrical round base...and note the crude (look at the neck, almost looks like it has whittle marks running up and down...see gallery)...this is gorgeous. Do not know exactly where this was used...came out of a Arizona "windowsill collection"...so possibly used in Arizona....but likely somewhere in the western states. Has a FANTASTIC OWL DRUG PICTORIAL WITH OWL SEATED ON DRUGGISTS MORTAR AND PESTLE. It is tougher than you think to find these old PHARMACY BOTTLES THAT ARE THIS NICE...often they are stained and ugly....this one is terrific. THIS ONE HAS BEAUTIFUL GLASS, I CAN FIND NO DEFECTS (HAS BEEN ON DISPLAY, HAS A BEAUTIFUL LIGHT PURPLE COLOR. I have inspected this bottle, seems really nice..glass is very nice, embossing is crisp, (see gallery)...Can find no cracks, chips, or damage....THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BOTTLE...I just got this one, and it is a real beauty....if you hold to light you will see it could use a gentle cleaning....really neat pc.
