Up for bids is this One of a Kind, Unique, and Rare Antique Train/ Buffalo New York Railroad Bench from 1891! What an awesome piece of railroad history! It is great because it can also be used for a functional bench/seating place if desired. This bench is so cool, and it can either be folded up, (as seen in pictures) or be in regular seating position. The bench is made out of wood and has iron legs and support in back. On each leg, (left side, middle, and right side) you can see the Number 3, and The Buffalo New York logo. On the left side, right below the seat, you can see the patent of bench with the date 1891. Measured from the base of the legs, this piece is 82 inches long, and 13 inches from front to back. The bench measures 28 inches tall and the wooden seat area measures 11.5 from bottom to front and from bottom to top it measures 14.5 inches. Overall, the bench is in great condition for how old it is. I noticed no major flaws, just some marks and minor flaws in the wood. The iron legs and back have some rust. We did not clean bench at all since we have acquired it, and as you can imagine, it would just look wonderful with minor cleaning and re-finishing if desired.
