1891 Doctrine and Covenants Third Electrotype Edition - Liverpool This volume is inscribed and signed by A. Milton Musser an important original LDS pioneer! This is a very rare 1891 Liverpool edition of the Doctrine and Covenants in fine presentation binding. This volume is in original condition, having no restoration work done. This book could benefit from a little professional clean-up work - I can recommend several conservators who specialize in rare Mormon books if interested. The book features gilded page edges, gold tooling on boards and back strip, gold dentelles and measures ~5.25" x 7.25" x 1.3". There is a name embossed on the front cover and an inscription penned inside (see scans). The corners are a bumped and there is damage to the head of the spine and exterior hinges. No missing or damaged leaves. This text block will probably need to be resewn, but will present beautifully if you choose to have it restored! This is a nice unrestored copy of this rare volume.
