Up for bidding is a beautiful Flow Blue tab handled oval vegetable serving bowl made by Wood and Son in England between 1891 and 1907. It is in the Keswick pattern. It features a center group of flowers with other groups of flowers along the trellis patterned border. The tab handles are feathered. The rim is scalloped and slightly raised. It measures nearly 12 inches in length, 9 1/4 inches in width, and 1 3/4 inches tall. There are no chips or cracks but the center shows wear from utensils and there is wear on the reverse bottom as you would expect for a piece over 100 years old. There are 3 stilt marks on the back and front which happened during firing (again a common occurence). The blue on the back is plentiful. This will make a wonderful addition to your English china or Flow Blue collection. Thank you for looking.
