1892-O Key date Barber half dollar, PCGS AU details, cleaning. We don't think that all baseball players are the same. Ted Williams or Willie Mays or Albert Pujols are much further along the continuum from, say, Ed Brinkman (look him up). So it is with cleaned coins. Some have been scrubbed to death, and others, not so much. Yes, this coin was cleaned long ago, and yes, there are some hairlines. But, they are mostly buried beneath the totally natural, light golden gray toning that gives this "cleaned" coin a good measure of eye appeal. Furthermore, there is some real luster remaining. The surfaces are smooth and free of any other issues. The coin's eye appeal is darn good, especially considering the holder its in. The best part is that you decide what this coin is worth.
