Wonderful estate sale find. This is a souvenir paperweight from the 1893 Chicago World's Fair Columbian Exposition. The picture encased inside is of the Montana State Building. The left side reads Montana State Building and the right side has only part of the word Columbian, then the word Exposition 1893. I feel that this was a flaw that occurred when made as the rest of the paperweight is near mint. The line across the bottoms reads Made at World's Fair by Libby Glass Co. Patented. Measures 3 7/8" wide by 2 1/2" tall. T are a few bubbles in the glass, what looks like a small split in the backing but no cracks, chips or scratches. Winning bidder to pay actual shipping. Insurance is optional and additional. I accept paypal, money orders and personal checks. Checks must clear before shipment of item. Usually 10 days. Please view all pictures carefully and ask all questions prior to bidding as most items I sell are vintage and sold as is. I am unable to offer refunds. Thank you.
