1893 Columbian Exposition Souvenir Spoons All 6 of these spoons are from the 1893 World's Fair held at Chicago. All the spoons are almost 4 1/2" and all say "Worlds Fair City" on the handle. This set has the bust of Columbus at the top of the handle with 1893 above the head and 1492 below the bust. Each spoon has a different building featured each spoon, they are: Administration Building Manufacturing & Liberal Arts Art Palace Fisheries Building Machinery Mall Transportation Building All these spoons we're bought at an estate auction over 50 years ago. they are in very nice condition. I believe that these and the other spoons in this and my other auctions are about the same age (late 1800's to early 1900's) I also believe that most of the spoons are sterling silver.
