This is an original Hand Painted Paper Fan from the 1893 Chicago World's Fair (Colombian Exposition). The image is of Machinery Hall. We don't know of the building was hand painted but the flowers and leafs above the building are definitely hand painted. Hand written in old ink below (appears original). The beginning and the end of the fan are detached at the paper fold (photographed below).Length: 13".
