1894 ETCHED METTLACH 2133 GNOME DRINKING BEER STEIN NM

Once again, Midwest was fortunate enough to obtain a collection of many different beer steins, including classic German lidded steins, collector's pieces, Mettlach, and several other choice styles! Most of these steins are in mint or near-mint condition, so make sure to check out the other steins up for offer this week as we share this wonderful collection with you!

This stein is a fantastic piece made by the renowned Mettlach of Germany. The stein is number 2133, a rare piece that depicts a gnome drinking atop a tree limb. The gnome is picked out in beautiful etching with vivid coloration, and is nicely complimented by the etched lid inlay.

The stein is in wonderful MINT condition with the exception of the lid as noted below, and we are offering its brother stein (2134) up for separate auction today too, so make sure to bid on both for a great matching set!
