This listing is for an"1895" Paris Exposition Commemorative stereoscope on a custom made pedestal table stand and six ( 6 ) complimentary genuine lithograph stereoviews made in the U.S.A. and dating back as far as 1898. Included are (3) Yellowstone National Park, (2) Colorado, and ( 1 ) Yosemite.This "1895 Expo" was actually made in 1902. Patent dates from 1895, 1896, ad 1902 are stamped on the bottom of the slide support. The H.C. White trade name and seal of the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle International ( 1900 World Fair ) are proudly engraved on the hood. It has rich Maple components on an ornately engraved silver metal chassis showing plenty of original luster and works perfectly. This viewer has perfect lenses providing superb focus and image. The entire stereoscope is 100% original aside from a fresh professionally replaced burgundy fabric on the edge of the hood, a fresh round brass tab on the thumb-piece, new card clips, and the round base at the very bottom of the table stand. Aside from those upgrades every part is antique. The long spindle was made from another part of a different antique item. The round base has a diameter of almost 6.80 inches and the maximum viewing height is 12.50 inches. The focus and images projected are superb.The (6 ) stereoviews are in varied viewable condition as shown and are complimentary.
