This is a neat brass three-dimensional pin in the shape of an elephant's head. The elephant's head lifts up by one of its tusks to reveal a paper insert depicting a woman's bloomers with a lock on them and the words "For Protection." William McKinley ran on a platform of trade protection, as well as the gold standard and a strong currency. Overall in very good condition, the piece does lack the pin on the back, and t is some staining on the paper insert, as seen in the photos. Guaranteed to be the original paper. The elephant head measures about 1.375" wide by about 1.5" high. Please email with any questions. Buyer pays reasonable shipping costs (estimated at $2.50 first class, including delivery confirmation). Priority mail and/or insurance extra at buyer's discretion.
