Very nice 1896 William Jennings Bryan 16 to 1 - Silver to Gold Presidential Campaign pin. '16 to 1' were odds (against) that he'd win! A democrat whose historical & original platform was to give Americans free & unlimited coinage of silver & gold!! Needless to say; he never won but ran many times. This is an original & authentic collectable from his 1896 campaign. Pin measures 1 1/2 in. long x 1 in. wide. Stick pin is made & adjusted so that the 16 & 1 'balances' when worn!
