SILVER POCKET WATCH WITH CHAIN AND FOB 1896 The pocket watch is in good working order but has not been tested for accuracyUp for auction is a solid silver hallmarked pocket watch and solid silver chain and fob On the face of the pocket watch it says THOs RUSSELL & SON LIVERPOOL it also has a second finger. I cannot see any chips or cracks On the back of the case is a engraving. It has a couple of very small dents Inside the 1st case are the silver hallmarks for Chester A LION A SHIELD AND THE LETTER N which dates it to 1896 Inside the 2nd case is again the hallmarks for Chester and the letters T.R K 2 On the movement are the words ENGLISH LEVER BY THO RUSSELL&SON LIVERPOOL 71107 The pocket watch is in good working order but has not been tested for accuracy . On the winder there is also silver hallmarks, and on the ring. It weighs approx 117.8 grm A key is included The silver chain is approx 12inches long and weighs 41.1grm (including the fob) it has lots of hallmarks The fob has a shield and a scroll which is un-initialed, it is fully hallmarked on the back LION M ANCHOR W.W.C Which is the Birmingham hallmark This would make a lovely addition to any collection as it is a superb watch!! I am sorting my grandads house and there will be many more pocket watches chains and other collectables listed please watch my auctions
