The New Brighton Tower aluminium medal/coin produced for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897 One side shows the New Brighton Tower..... the highest structure in England. It had the world's largest stage at the time and one of the largest ballrooms destroyed by fire in 1969. Built in 1896 standing on the banks of the River Mersey with its apex 621 feet above sea level 103 feet taller than Blackpool Tower. The area is now River View housing estate on the Wirral. Pictured to the other side is the veiled head of the old Queen Victoria Diameter 1 1/2 inches In good condition P&P within UK = £1.35 In good condition
