* PLEASE NOTE * * WE'LL ALSO BE PUTTING UP SOME OTHER VERY NICE ORIGINAL ANTIQUE CYLINDER PHONOGRAPHS and VICTROLAS THIS WEEK SO PLEASE CHECK THEM ALL OUT * with no reserve is a very early and with the exception of the horn an ALL original Model C Graphophone...also called the Universal as it was the first machine meant for entertainment as well as business. This was manufactured in 1897 with a first patent date on the machine of 1886. The triple spring motor runs and operates perfectly...as do the top mechanics. It now has the recommended leather drive belt...I replaced it after I took these pictures. The reproducer sounds ok and it looks to have a new stylus on it but the gasket should be replaced for better sound. And I think you can tell from the pics but the bottom case does have some nicks on the corners and the front decal has wear but overall it's a very nice and very solid (not to mention a very heavy) early example of a pretty rare old machine. Please see for yourself and again be sure to check out all our other antique phonographs, victrolas and related items that we have up now. We have an excellent reputation on and off ebay for selling and servicing these antique phonographs and as a Power Seller award winner you can feel very comfortable placing bids T are no handling fees but this will weigh about 55 lbs after packing and shipping to the lower 48 will be $55...overseas at actual cost and appx $200. I forgot to mention this is the description but I added the last pic to show a comparison between the Graphophone and an Edison Standard model...as you can see it's about twice the size...just a little trivia :)
