We are offering a very beautiful medal from the United Kingdom, the 1897 Queen Victoria Commemoration of the Diamond (Sixty Year) Jubilee Reign Medal, Engraved by F. Bowcher for Spink & Son Ltd. The medal is listed as number 3512 by Laurence Brown in his "British Historical Medals 1760-1960, Volume 2, The Reign of Queen Victoria 1837-1901" . In the next few weeks, we will be listing a very nice, high quality collection of Queen Victoria Jubilee medals. This medal is 51.1 mm and is made of white metal gilt (with a total weight of 1.427 ounces or 40.4 grams). The medal has gorgeous lightly golden silver surfaces and wonderful sharp detail.
