Third Annual Report of the Commissioners of FISHERIES, GAME and FORESTS of the State of New York for 1897 was published in Albany NY 1898 measuring 11 1/2" x 8 3/4" with 454 pages, 9 color fish plates by Denton, 5 color bird plates, foldout map, b+w plates by Hy S Watson, many b+w photos of logging operations, maple syrup collection etc. The Denton fish plates are Cisco from Hemlock Lake; White Bass; Fall Fish or Silver Chub; Common Whitefish, Female; Red Throat Black Spotted or Rocky Mountain Trout; Steelhead or Salmon Trout; Golden Shiner or Bream; Alewife or Branch Herring; and Common Whitefish, Male from Canandaigua Lake. Faint old dampstaining and fading to front cover, spine, and bottom left of rear cover; otherwise solid and clean. Plates, map and illustrations are in EX condition. Thank you.
