'Rare' Buffalo Bill and the Congress of Rough Riders of the World , Wild West Show Program from 1898. Shaped like a 'Buffalo' , with a picture of a buffalo and Col. W. F. Cody (Buffalo Bill) on cover. Backcover has a pic of Bill (president) & Nate Salsbury (vice president & manager). Measures approx. 7" 3/4 x 9" , 32 pg.s , Complete. No missing pg.s. On the back of front cover (before 1st pg.) it says : Col. Codys only Card. To the public : Once and for all , and all rumors and reports to the contrary notwithstanding , I beg to positvely assure my commrades , friends , patrons , and the press , that wver & whenever my "Wild West and Congress of Rough Riders of the World" is billed to appear , t will I be with it also. That I not only always personally direct it as a whole and every production connected twith , but invariably appear at each afternoon and evening performance , conscientiously fulfilling every advertised promice made in my name.
