MAKIO 1898 Ohio State University yearbook Volume XVII (17) [EB # 4] Hardcover, approx. 9.5" by 7", 329 pp.+ many ads. Acceptable condition: green cloth boards have rubbed spine, dampstaining to back panel. Pages are age-toned with a few smudges and some marginal dampstaing; pages of advertisements in back are rippled from damp, a few are stuck together. SOLD AS IS. Lists of faculties of each school; Class of '98 with (uncaptioned) individual photos; the list of graduate students is FIVE people!; some great photos of college buildings; (I think) each Literary society, fraternity has a group photo; photo of Football team (ya gotta love those striped uniforms!), 2 Base Ball teams, and Basket Ball team; photos of Glee club, Mandolin & Guitar club, Banjo Club; also photos of other organizations such as the Political Science Club, Mathematical Society, Ceramics Association. Officers only are listed for each organization, but photos are not captioned; there is also no index. Back section has verses, song lyrics, and anecdotes from classes, including Book Reviews and Calendar. Many cartoons, but I cannot make out the artist's signature.
