1898 Trans-Mississippi issue, first (7) denominations 1-cent through 50-cent, Scott #285 through #291I am finally getting around to selling the last of my numismatic and philatelic collections. Having previously sold my Large Cents, Lincoln Cents, Early 20th Century Used U.S. Stamps, and a 19th Century Cover Accumulation, it is time to sell my 19th Century Used U. S. collection, which has been carefully housed in a Scott Platinum (hingeless) album for the past 20-plus years.I am going to begin listing at the beginning and move chronologically forward. I am providing high-resolution images of all of the stamps I am selling. For all issues from 1847 up through the National Bank Note issues, ending with Scott #155, I am including images of the backs of the stamps. If you want to see an image of the back of any of the later stamps, just let me know. Most of the early and some of the better later issues will be listed individually. Many of the later issues will be grouped into small lots.I will attempt to describe every stamp honestly and accurately, including any and all faults or condition issues that are present. And as mentioned above, high quality photos will also be provided. This auction is for a lot of (7) stamps from the 1898 Trans-Mississippi issue, as follows: Scott 285, 1-cent dark yellow green -- VF+ centering, very light read more
